Jack – an outside cat

Three kittens showed up on the porch steps one day outside in the fall of 2021. Not from any of our cat herd since our cats are all fixed. Guessing they were born in April or May and were dropped off.  They were the perfect age for kittens – six to eight weeks old.  We worked on getting them used to touch. They come scampering from the woods across the road.

Took him for shots, worming and care. He was neutered at Lakeside Vet Clinic in Montour Falls. named him Jack since is toally all black except for a few white hairs near his neck. Now he stays in the barn. He is a great hunter and brings dead things to the bed on the porch.
