Almost everyday a cat comes wandering thru the yard and is checking out food and housing options. It is a black and white “cow kitty”. It has been coming for a while and has on occasion been in a cat fight with Jack. Assume it is a male cat since Jack seems to hate it and want to defend territory. Nick named “Cow Kitty” it often lays in the bushes just out of reach of being touched and is vocal and does respond to my voice. Never close enough to touch. Know that is getting some food on the porch at times so it is not starving. Know that it has gone in the kitty entrance in the barn but have never seen it when I have been in the barn. So it appears we have a new outdoor cat. It will get fed and has warm shelter in the barn for when winter comes. Jack seems to tolerate it but does not like this cat. Not sure where it comes from or where it goes. It just knows when it is time for us to put food out for Jack on the porch.
